Warrensville to meet Purcell for title

COLUMBUS Eric Sanders had 22 points and 12 rebounds as Warrensville Heights started and finished fast to beat Lima Shawnee 81-70 in a Division II state semifinal Thursday at Value City Arena.
The Tigers (24-2) will meet Purcell Marian in Saturday's championship game.
Warrensville's Sanders hit 10 of 14 shots from the field, with three teammates also finding double figures. The Tigers' leading scorer and first-team All-Ohioan, Julius Juby Johnson, a Miami University recruit, chipped in with 15 points despite being saddled with foul trouble most of the last three quarters.
Edsel Alexander added 13 points and Jawara Brooks 10 for the Tigers, ranked 18th in the final regular-season Associated Press poll.
