Stuff 116, Baltimore 104

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Tremaine Fowlkes scored 24 points and forward Alex Sanders added 21 as the Cincinnati Stuff placed seven players in double figures on their way to a 116-104 victory over the Baltimore BayRunners Thursday night at the Baltimore Arena.

Cincinnati (39-17) led most of the game before Baltimore took a brief lead with 1:30 left in the third quarter. But Cincinnati responded with a 6-0 run to close the quarter.

“I think we might have been caught thinking a little bit about tomorrow night in the third quarter, but we bounced right back,” Stuff coach Joby Wright said. “We are starting to get quality point production from everybody on the roster, and that makes us even more dangerous.”

The St. Louis Swarm visit the Stuff tonight.

The game is important for Cincinnati, because it's a chance for the Stuff to cut down the Swarm's lead for best record in the IBL.

“It's a huge game for us,” Wright said.

Cincinnati trails St. Louis (41-15) for home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
