Firm gets tax break to open Warren plant

LEBANON A company has gotten a tax break from Warren County commissioners for a new plant to make motorcycle brakes.
Sunnex Inc. plans to spend $2.7 million on the plant in Franklin's industrial park, at Interstate 75 and Ohio 123. Commissioners agreed to reduce taxes on personal property expect ed to value $3.3 million for five years.
The plant will employ at least 25 people, and salaries will average $35,000, company officials have said.
Construction on the Franklin plant is expected to be finished in early 2001, company officials said.
Sunnex also makes automotive sealers at a Springboro plant.
