'Traffic' movie needs extra extras
By
The movie Traffic needs more extras for a few days' work in Columbus, Ohio.
The Steven Soderbergh-directed thriller starring Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones needs 100 extras for scenes to be filmed in Columbus over a few days at the end of May.
Potential extras must be at least 18 years old, and must submit a head shot, 3 inches by 5 inches or larger, to TRAFFIC Columbus, 7201 Melrose Ave., #D, Los Angeles CA 90046. The back of the photo must include the applicant's name, phone number, height and weight, and must be received in Los Angeles no later than May 15.
The Columbus spots are being cast separately from the segments to be filmed in Cincinnati, after the Columbus scenes are done. Cincinnati applicants can still send photos and resumes to Winters Casting, 7116-C Pippin Road, Cincinnati 45239. A live casting call will be scheduled early in May. For information, call Winters Casting at 729-0222 or the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Film Commission at 784-1744.
