Artist: Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy High School, design by Philip Gotfelty and Ben Cautier; painted by ninth- to 12th-grade students. Don Stocker, teacher.

        Sponsor: Ron and Phyllis McSwain.

        This pig's pen: TBA

You were inspired by: “The creation of the world. There is the creation of Adam from the Sistine Chapel, the separation of light and darkness, and it's chock-full of animals,” Mr. Stocker says.

You want people to look at this pig and think: “What the world is all about. It goes along with what this school teaches,” Mr. Stocker says.

Completing the project took: About eight weeks.

Swine over matter: Painted in acrylics.

Your high on the hog was: “The students did everything themselves, the design, the sanding and priming, all the painting,” Mr. Stocker says. “I only added a few touches.”

Pig peeve: “They had to learn that they would have to hone their skills to make this design work.”

Best pig tale: “There were some heavy philosophical arguments about what elements should go where. They were usually solved by somebody saying "Well, I'm here today and he's not, so we'll do it my way.' ”
