        TV picks: The Pretender winds up the season (and possibly the series) with a two-hour special (8 p.m., Channels 5, 22), while Sammo Hung faces the same uncertainty in the Martial Law finale (9 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

        ãTV Critic John Kiesewetter also recommends Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) as a wheelchair-bound boy who races soap box derby cars in Miracle in Lane Two (7:30 p.m. and 9:10 p.m., Disney Channel).
