Homearama draw: $2.2M house

The houses at the annual Homearama show are always big, but this is getting ridiculous.

Hensley Homes is topping all the other area builders in this year's elite home show with a 21-room house that already has sold for $2.2 million.

Prices for the 17 houses in this year's show start at about $650,000. In the past decade, there have been only a few Homearama houses with a price of more than $1 million.

A Hensley spokeswoman said the house has 15,000 total square feet, with five bedrooms, two full baths, four half-baths and a two-story cherrywood library.

The show this year runs June 10-25 at River's Bend in Warren County.
