The Scott baseball team and the Boone County fast-pitch softball team are two of the hottest squads going into this week's Region tournaments.
The Eagles (28-6) are riding a six-game winning streak. The 28-3 Lady Rebels — lead by pitcher Heather Lawrence (25-0. 0.30 ERA) — have won 23 in a row.
