Brossart track teams sweep Kentucky titles

The Cincinnati Enquirer

LEXINGTON — The Bishop Brossart girls and boys track teams did more than claim Class A state titles Saturday.

The Lady 'Stangs won their fourth straight championship and became just the third girls team to accomplish that feat. The others are Danville (Class AA and A, 1983-88) and Fort Campbell (Class A, '79-82).

The Mustangs claimed the school's first-ever boys track team title.

“This program has been brought from a low point to the best it's ever been,” coach Brad Dunlevy said.
