Cincinnati area wins 7 track titles


Two each for Wyoming, Colerain

        DAYTON — Cincinnati-area high school athletes won seven state track championships Friday and Saturday at Welcome Stadium.

        The girls titles:

        • Wyoming's 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams.

        • East Clinton's Jennifer Caldwell in the 300 hurdles.

        • Colerain's 3,200-meter relay team.

        The boys titles:

        • Colerain's Mason Ward in the 1,600-meter run.

        • LaSalle's Steve Padgett in the 3,200-meter run.

        • Middletown's 1,600 relay team.

        • St. Xavier's 3,200 relay.
