Proposed Olympic venues




        The Cincinnati 2012 Olympic Committee has decided on preliminary venues for many of the summer Olympic sports. Some venues have not been determined; some locations have to be built:

        Cleveland: Sailing (Lake Erie), baseball preliminaries (Jacobs Field)

        Columbus: Fencing (convention center), Judo (Nationwide Arena), table tennis (convention center), Taekwondo (Nationwide Arena), wrestling (Ohio State University).

        Dayton: Field hockey (Dayton Welcome Stadium and Centerville High School), softball (Morraine, Ohio), weightlifting (Nutter Center).

        Lexington: Basketball preliminaries (Rupp Arena and Memorial Hall); equestrian events (Commonwealth Stadium and Kentucky Horse Park); modern day pentathlon (UK and Kentucky Horse Park).

        Louisville: Boxing (Freedom Hall).

        Miami U.: Team handball (Millett Hall)

        ATP Center: Tennis

        Princeton High School: Archery, cycling-track

        Xavier University: Badminton, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline

        University of Cincinnati: Swimming, diving, synchronized swimming; basketball medal rounds; artistic gymnastics; trampoline; media village.

        East Fork Lake: Rowing, canoe/kayak-sprint.

        Northern Kentucky University: Water polo

        Paul Brown Stadium: Soccer, opening and closing ceremonies

        Firstar Center: Court volleyball

        Sawyer Point: Beach volleyball; triathlon

        Reds ballpark: Baseball

        Proposed stadium (western riverfront): Track and field
