Nabli upsets Schreiber in Met
Yarrell, Reid, Reed also stun seeded players

Amin Nabli is quickly making a name for himself in Cincinnati's tennis community.
A native of Tunisia and a recent graduate of Miami University, Nabli pulled off the first upset in the Thomas E. Price Metropolitan Tennis Championship, defeating Ben Schreiber, the No. 10 seed.
Isaac Yarrell, 20, a graduate of Princeton High and a junior at Florida A&M, also came through with an impressive performance, eliminating No. 15 seed Eric Matthews, 7-6, 6-0.
There were two other upsets. Thaddeus Reed defeated No. 8 seed Mike Dektas while Mike Reid eliminated No. 14 seed Mike Lint. Reid plays Reed in Tuesday's round of 16. The other 12 seeded players advanced to the Round of 16 matches that will be played on Tuesday on Lunken Playfield's clay courts.
I didn't know anything about Ben except that he played for the University of Illinois, Nabli said. They (Illinois) have a good coach, and anyone who starts there has to be pretty good.
The first set was a classic display of two polished and well-conditioned players. However, Nabli took advantage of two unforced errors to break Schreiber's serve at 6-5 to claim the first set.
He (Schreiber) seemed a little down after losing the first set, Nabli said. He tried to go after some shots in the second set but couldn't convert them.
Nabli's next challenge will be Dan Kronauge, a former touring professional who played in the ATP doubles qualifier last year with Kelly Jones.
