        Loud and long: “Ozzfest 2000” opens Riverbend's gates at 10 a.m. today with organizer Ozzy Osbourne and a host of modern metal bands, including Pantera, Godsmack, Tommy Lee's Methods of Mayhem, Crazy Town, Static-X, Queens of the Stone Age, Soulfly, P.O.D., Pitchshifter, Slaves on Dope and many more. $55.25 pavilion, $29.75 lawn, at Ticketmaster outlets and the Riverbend box office.

        TV picks: Music fills the air tonight with new concert footage in More Doo Wop 50 (8 p.m., Channel 48) and repeats of 'N Sync Live from Madison Square Garden (7 p.m., HBO); Moody Blues at Royal Albert Hall (8 p.m., Channel 16); Roy Orbison & Friends (9 p.m., Channel 48); and Jerry Lee Lewis: The Story of Rock and Roll (9:45 p.m., Channel 16). Channel 48 airs the Moody Blues at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

        • TV Critic John Kiesewetter also says Biography repeats its excellent two-hour profile of Cincinnati native Doris Day (8 p.m. and midnight, A&E).

        (What's in stores today) Video picks: Enquirer film critic Margaret A. McGurk notes that the video release of Map of the World gives film fans a chance to catch an acclaimed but little-seen performance by Sigourney Weaver.
