Man indicted on charges of Kings Island voyeurism

LEBANON — A West Virginia man, accused of secretly videotaping boys and an adult man in the locker room at Paramount's Kings Island's water park was indicted Tuesday on two charges of voyeurism.
Steven Ray Meester, 33, was arrested July 22 after the man confronted him in the locker room. According to Mason police, a bag had a hole cut in one end and a camera lens protruded from it.
Mr. Meester, who was granted release on bond, told police he had used the camera for about 20 minutes to film males changing in the locker room and planned on viewing the film later for sexual gratification.
A report compiled by Officer John Cullen said Mr. Meester admitted that he wanted to film adult men because he is gay. He did not intend to capture any juveniles on film, the report said.
Mr. Meester also told police the incident was not a first for him. He admitted videotaping men in the Water Works locker room twice during the 1999 season, the report said.
