Couple rob bank in Anderson Twp.

The Cincinnati Enquirer

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP — Hamilton County sheriff's deputies were searching Friday for a man and a pregnant woman who robbed the Provident Bank at 7500 Beechmont Ave. at 4:30 p.m.

Sheriff's officials said the couple, who appeared to be in their 20s, handed the bank teller a note demanding $50 and $100 bills. The note also claimed the couple had a gun, authorities said.

The robbers fled on Five Mile Road with an undisclosed amount of money in a two-door teal Pontiac.

The brown-haired man had a goatee and was wearing a yellow and white baseball cap; a light-colored shirt; and a tan-colored, V-neck sweater. He was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, witnesses told police. The woman had long brown hair and was wearing a black-and-white-striped maternity smock, police said.

Friday's robbery was the 42nd this year in Southwest Ohio.
