Public hearing on air permit

        The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday to accept comments on the draft air permit issued to Moellering Industries Inc., 6325 Este Ave. in Carthage.

        Moellering, which makes laminate counter tops and marble sinks, has applied for an air permit to regulate organic compounds and particulate emissions from various operations.

        The hearing will be in the first-floor conference room of the Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services, 250 William Howard Taft Road.
