Pro volleyball in Cincinnati?
An organization attempting to bring professional volleyball to the United States for the first time has listed Cincinnati as a potential site for an inaugural team.
The United States Professional Volleyball league, hoping to open play in January 2002 with eight midwest teams, recently signed Royal Neighbors of America as a league sponsor but remains without investors to head up the franchises themselves.
Bill Kennedy, founder of the league, says there is already interest in Toledo and Columbus, but none yet in Cincinnati itself.
