Reading's Wynn: 7 TDs, 467 yards

Former Lockland star DeShawn Wynn made his debut for Reading Friday night, and he made it special.
Wynn rushed for 467 yards and seven touchdowns on 25 carries in a 49-34 victory over Finneytown.
Wynn's yardage total is a new school record and the third highest total in Ohio High School Athletic Association history, surpassing the 440 yards by current Chicago Bear Curtis Enis for Union City Mississinawa Valley in 1993.
The state record is 529 yards by Troy's Bob Ferguson against Kiser in 1956.
Wynn, who had to sit out Reading's first four games until his eligibility was approved, scored on runs of 80, 91, 49, 18, 72, 58 and 26 yards.
Before the game I asked Deshawn what his career high was for touchdowns in a game and he answered seven (against Hillcrest), Reading coach Ken Minor said. I told him that's all I want from him tonight and he delivered.
Wynn's amazing performance started on the first play from scrimmage. Expecting blitzing linebackers, Minor called a sweep outside and 80 yards later Wynn had his first touchdown in a Blue Devil uniform.
By halftime Wynn scored on touchdown runs of 80, 91, 49 and 18 yards.
The second half was the same story. Wynn scored on runs of 72, 58 and 26 yards to clinch the victory.
We couldn't take him out because our defense couldn't stop them either, Minor said. In 28 years of coaching this is the greatest performance I have seen.
Finneytown senior Kellen Campbell rushed for 237 yards and four touchdowns to keep the Wildcats close.
