Man indicted again over fatal beating
The Cincinnati Enquirer
A College Hill man was indicted for the second time Thursday on charges of beating a man to death in Clifton.
Keith Harris, 30, faces the same charges he faced two months ago when prosecutors dropped the case because they could not find a key witness.
Although prosecutors would not say whether had found the witness, they have said they could not go to trial without her. They say the witness, Janet Hill, heard Mr. Harris admit the crime.
Mr. Harris is accused of killing Kerwin Banks in Clifton last August. If convicted, he would face 15 years to life in prison.
Mr. Harris was to be arraigned today before Judge Melba Marsh in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.
