Harried with children

        Leaf leap: It's not too soon for your kids to giggle and romp in mounds of fallen autumn leaves. This picturesque scene is the second in a series of interactive works for children at the Contemporary Arts Center, 115 E. Fifth St. An entire gallery is filled with soft, oversized quilted leaves — each a handmade replica of leaves found around the world — on a bed of bouncy foam made especially for jumping.
