Fumble thwarts comeback attempt
ANDERSON, Ind. Anderson linebacker Andrew Hanlon forced a fumble with 30 seconds to play Saturday, preserving a 19-17 win over Mount St. Joseph.
The fumble gave Anderson (2-4, 2-1 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference) the ball at its own six-yard line and prevented a possible game-winning field goal by Mount St. Joseph (2-5, 0-3).
Doug Anderson ran 33 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns for MSJ.
