If this pig disappears, his smile will still be there.
Artists: Steve Brauch, 30, and Rokeya Brauch, 29, Colerain Township. Mr. Brauch works at the Glass Hand, where the pigs were fabricated. He did alterations, additions and modifications on some 30 pigs for other Big Pig artists.
Sponsor: Convergys.
This pig will be part of the eBay online auction, lot two, Nov. 2-9.
This pig's pen: Atrium One Terrace, Fourth Street
What's the pig idea? The Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, as a pig. Rokeya is a sculptor and had done a sculpture of a Cheshire grin, just a mouth and two eyes that hang on the wall.
What's the matter? We tried to do it pretty clean and simple, using the processes you use to finish off a car. I had access to the materials and the know-how of the Glass Hand.
Your high on the hog was: We've got a 2-year-old son, Quinn, whose eyes light up when he sees the pig.
Best pig tale: It was nice to work on a project with my wife. We don't get to work together too often.
My favorite pork dish: Ribs.
What artistic movement most affected the outcome of this pig? Disney cartoons.
The materials cost: $300.
If your pig starred in a movie, who would you cast to play the role? Whoopie Goldberg.
