Koehler, MacNeil lead sweep
For The Cincinnati Enquirer
The IHL Cincinnati Cyclones swept the two game home-at-home series beating the Milwaukee Admirals 2-2 before 5,025 Saturday at Firstar Center.
Sean Haggerty scored the only Milwaukee goal in the first period. The Admirals led 1-0.
This was a very physical game, said general manager/coach Ron Smith. Defensively we played one of our better games this season.
Right winger Greg Koehler scored his second goal of the season and first on the power play from the right circle pass Admirals netminder Jan Lasak.
The Cyclones took the lead when Ian MacNeil scored his second of the season on a 2-on-1 break. Craig MacDonald came out of the penalty box and tapped a pass from Len Esau out to MacNeil, who skated out of his zone and fired a shot under Lasak.
