Staying In
TV picks: Talk about a scary show for Halloween weekend: Time Machine devotes two hours to the 1929 stock market crash which launched the Great Depression (9 p.m., History Channel).
TV Critic John Kiesewetter says Lydia (Heather Paige Kent) blows off her best friend (Debi Mazar) to attend an author lecture on That's Life (8 p.m., Channels 12, 7).
The Goods (What's in stores today)
Time warp: As you know, time waits for no one. Especially this weekend, when the clocks fall back an hour. Celebrate that extra hour of sleep by buying yourself a new clock. Maybe one that looks like the Eiffel Tower, says manufacturer Seth Thomas. It sells for about $40 at stores all over the place. Check them out (and order if you wanna) at www.seththomas.com.
Planning Ahead

48 hours out: BB Riverboats Haunts the Ohio River with a Halloween teen cruise. Costume contest, tour of the spook-infested USS Nightmare plus music and games from KISS 107. 6:30-9 p.m. Monday. Loads at Covington Landing. $15. (859) 261-8500.
