Projected rankings
| It looks like No.1 Moeller will play host to No.8 Fairfield, No.2 Colerain will play host to No.7 Anderson, No.3 St.Xavier will play host to Western Hills and No.4 Lebanon will play host to No.5 Elder.
The official pairings will be determined today by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Harbin computer expert Steve Shuck pointed to Withrow's upset of Sycamore on Friday as a key game that helped move Western Hills higher than anticipated in the final Harbin point totals.
The Division II berths should stay as earlier predicted, with the exception of Wapakoneta earning the No.8 berth over Roger Ba con, following Roger Bacon's loss to Northwest on Friday.
An unexpected win by Gallia in Division III could mean Purcell Marian ends up traveling to Gallipolis for a first-round game.
Wyoming now should be the No.1 team in the region in Division IV, following Brookville's upset of Valley View on Friday night. It was Valley View's first home loss in eight years. Wyoming would play host to either Indian Hill or Mariemont in the first round; Madeira now looks to be in line for the difficult task of traveling to Valley View.
The fate of Cincinnati Hills League rivals Indian Hill and Mariemont was to be determined Saturday by a game taking place far away from the bordering local towns.
Shuck projected one of those schools to earn the eighth and final berth in Division IV. The difference could come from the game between Waverly, from south-central Ohio, visiting Coshocton, in east-central Ohio.
If Waverly wins, Mariemont is projected to earn the berth; a Coshocton win would give Indian Hill the edge. The difference in Harbin points between the two teams, Shuck projects, will be .05 of a point.
Shuck projects that Reading could end up hosting a first-round playoff game as the No.4 team in the region in Division V with Gahanna Columbus Academy, but the margin between the two teams is very small, so Saturday outcomes could alter that.
In Division VI, Summit Country Day was beaten by Mariemont on Friday but still could end up hosting a first-round game after Cedarville was upset by Jamestown Greenview. That could move Cedarville back to the No.5 position.
