Auction site picks 'Priceless Gifts'

Six pigs from the Big Pig Gig have been picked as “Priceless Gifts” by eBay. That means on eBay they are “this year's priceless must haves, timeless treasures, extravagant luxuries and gifts for charities.” The six pigs went online as “Ultimate Gifts” on Thursday.

“This is eBay's answer to the Neiman Marcus Catalog,” said Big Pig Gig spokeswoman Betsy Neyer. “They will be the last six pigs to end the eBay auction” Nov. 11.

        The pigs are:

        • Elvis Pigsley by Carissa Barnard, Michael Beeghly and Michael Chaney.

        • MerSOWdes by Jason Tingler.

        • Porkemon by Wayne Clark.

        • Contemporary Arts Centerloin by Zaha Hadid.

        • Angel by Carole Meyer.

        • Parrothead Pig by David Flege (Parrothead Pig is autographed by Jimmy Buffett, who has expressed interest in bidding on Elvis Pigsley.)
