Former Cyclones backup goaltender Alex Westlund backstopped the Milwaukee Admirals past Cincinnati 4-2 Saturday night at Firstar Center in his first start of the IHL season.
Westlund stopped 37 Cyclone shots to claim his first victory since April 16 when he won a shootout decision for Cincinnati against Cleveland.
Daniel Riva, Mike Watt, Greg Classen and Petr Sachl scored for the Admirals, who improved to 6-8.
Cyclones Gilbert Dionne and Erik Cole added late third-period goals. The Cyclones (6-8-2) remain fourth place in the Eastern Conference and are 2-1 on this six-game homestand.
