St. Ignatius loses in Division I

Solon ended Cleveland St. Ignatius' bid for a record ninth Ohio football title Saturday night and joined Colerain, Massillon Perry and Upper Arlington in the Division I state semifinals.
Solon (13-0) routed St. Ignatius 31-13. St. I (11-1) was ranked No.1 in Ohio by Associated Press. Solon remained perfect this season at 13-0.
Pairings will be announced today by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Reading is the only other Cincinnati area team in the state semifinals.
The Blue Devils are joined by in Divison IV.
