        Junior Jared Franz (Badin) had 22 points and four rebounds and three other players scored in double figures as Mount St. Joseph beat Earlham 78-67 Monday night.

        Earlham took a 52-51 lead five minutes into the second half but, Mount St. Joseph went on an 8-0 run to go ahead for good.

        Junior guard Travis Brett led Earlham with 15 points, including five three-pointers.

        Earlham — Smith 4-12 1-3 10, Brett 5-7 0-0 15, Hathaway 2-6 0-0 5, Beck 3-5 1-3 7, Keaton 2-3 2-4 6, C. Wright 2-5 0-0 6, J. Wright 3-4 2-2 10, Jones 0-1 0-0 0, Suttle 1-4 1-3 3, Stoops 2-4 0-0 5. Totals: 24-51 7-15 67.
