N.Ky. girls basketball games




        • Walton-Verona 62, Lloyd 31 — Senior forward Jessica Schmidt had 24 points and 26 rebounds to lead Walton-Verona.

        Sophomore center Amber Sims had 18 rebounds in her first varsity start for the Bearcats, who outrebounded the Juggernauts 55-20. Sims also scored 14 points.

        Ashlee Afterkirk, a sophomore point guard, had 14 assists for Walton.

        • Ludlow 42, Bellevue 35 — Ludlow converted 20 of 30 free throws, including seven by Amanda Wise and 11 by Ashley Pence.

        Pence finished with a game-high 23 points.

        Kim Holliman scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Bellevue.

        Meyers and Ziegler each grabbed nine rbeounds.

        Colleen Pairan led Scott with 15 points.
