Norse women win 32nd straight game

        Junior forward Michelle Cottrell had 22 points and 13 rebounds Wednesday night as the Northern Kentucky University women's basketball team won its 32nd consecutive game, 88-71 over St. Francis (Ind.).

        Heather Livingstone added 20 points for NKU (8-0), ranked No.1 nationally in NCAA Division II.

        St. Francis (13-2) entered the game ranked No.1 in NAIA Division II.

        Cottrell (Boone Co.) moved into seventh place on the NKU all-time scoring list with 1,349 points. Cincinnati 79, Dayton 69
       

        Cincinnati's Valerie King led all scorers with 21 points. Portia Flournoy added 19 points and Laura Wilder had a game-high eight rebounds.
