Gary Popovich has been named to replace Tim Lichtenberg as football coach at Mason High School.

        Lichtenberg retired after 21 years at Mason.

        Popovich has been the offensive coordinator under Lichtenberg for the last seven years. He also was an assistant at Taft and Kings. Popovich, from Uniontown, Ohio, played wide receiver at the University of Delaware.
