Beechwood rallies to beat Bellevue 43-38
Junior guard Amy Jones made six consecutive free throws during the final three minutes, enabling Beechwood to erase a 12-point deficit en route to a 43-38 victory over Bellevue Thursday night.
Trailing 26-18 at halftime, Beechwood closed the gap to two points going into the fourth quarter. Sarah Kroger made a 12-foot jumper with 5:36 left in the game to give Beechwood its first lead of the game, 37-36.
Beechwood senior Katie Pohlgeers led both teams with 23 points and also had 11 rebounds. Kim Holliman scored 17 points to lead Bellevue.

Newport 56, Scott 48 Stephanie Atkins and Ashley Mills each scored 14 points as Newport held off Scott.
Atkins scored seven points in the third quarter when Newport took the lead for good. Christina Jones made all seven of her free throws in the fourth quarter and finished with 13 points for the Wildcats.
Scott's Colleen Pairan had a game-high 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Leah Lantry had 17 rebounds and Beth Blackburn had 16 for Ludlow.

Calvary Christian 49, Villa Madonna 46 Sarah Woods drove for a layup to give Calvary Christian a 47-46 lead with two minutes left, and Becca Blaine hit two free throws with 6.8 seconds left to clinch the victory.
Woods scored a game-high 21 points and Lisa Van Berkel added 15 for the Cougars.
