John Downs and Jeff Wera combined for 17 of Beechwood's 20 points in the fourth quarter.

        Beechwood led by as many as 13 points after halftime, but Bellevue made a run and cut the lead to two points with about six minutes left in the game.

        Wera, a freshman guard, preserved the lead by making six of six foul shots down the stretch; Downs scored nine of his game-high 20 points in the final quarter.

        Senior forward Mike Gul lett led Bellevue with 18 points, while Chris Clemons added 15 and Brandon Cain 14 for Bellevue.
