Ohio Northern 61, Mount St. Joseph 55

Kris Oberdick led Ohio Northern (8-1) with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds in its 61-55 victory over Mount St. Joseph (5-4)in the semifinal round of the Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce Classic.
Mount St. Joseph led 31-30 at the end of the first half and stretched the lead to 40-32 with 14:32 remaining in the game. Ohio Northern then went on a 16-0 run and led 48-40 with 7:19 to go.
Mount St. Joseph tied the game at 55 on a Josh Lawrence 3-pointer, but Ohio Northern scored six unanswered points and went on to win.
Lawrence finished with 10 points and six rebounds for the Mount. MSJ junior forward Steve Bain had eight points and a team-high 10 rebounds off the bench.
Ohio Northern was 10-for-15 from the foul line in the second half compared to Mount St. Joseph's 5-for-11.
