Dawn's scoring barrage can't keep NCC from loss

        Westminster overcame nine three-3-pointers and 33 points by Newport Central Catholic's Ronny Dawn, beating the Thoroughbreds 73-59 in the championship game of the Kentucky Fifth Third Holiday Classic at Lexington Saturday night.

        Jakob Sigardson had 19 points and Ben Bowling scored 18 for Westminster, which led 36-24 at halftime and never trailed in the second half.
