New Ohio voters who wish to cast ballots in the Feb. 6 special election in Butler, Clermont or Hamilton counties have until the close of business Monday to register.

        In Hamilton County, voters can register at 824 Broadway St., downtown, until 4 p.m.; in Butler County at 315 High St. in Hamilton until 4:30 p.m.; and Clermont County at 76 S. Riverside Drive in Batavia until 9 p.m..

        Butler County's Edgewood school district has on the ballot a 6.9-mill operating levy, expected to raise about $2.13 million annually.

        Clermont Northeastern school district voters will decide whether eight parcels of land should be transferred to the West Clermont schools.

        The only nonschool issue is in Woodlawn, where voters will decide whether to increase the village's income tax to 2 percent from 1.4 percent.

        There are no ballot issues in Warren County.
