Miami's Cunningham top Ohio soccer player
Miami University sophomore forward Andrea Cunningham (McAuley High) was named player of the year in Ohio by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.
Cunningham, who also was named a first-team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, has scored 30 goals in two seasons.
MU's Danielle Berkemeier (Fairfield), Shaedyn Cousino (Indian Hill) and Tonja Weimer (Vandalia) also made the all-Ohio first team, and Maggie Lyon (St. Ursula) made the second team.
