Ohio State tackle turning pro
Ohio State defensive tackle Ryan Pickett, a three-year starter, is heading to the pros.
Pickett, a junior from Zephyrhills, Fla., said Thursday he was giving up his final year of eligibility to make himself available for the NFL draft in April.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Pickett had 39 tackles and six sacks in the 2000 season. He played in every game while at Ohio State.
