N.Ky. girls basketball games
Late rally lifts NCC
Nicole Chiodi and Amy Meyers each scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, rallying Newport Central Catholic from a 13-point deficit for a 49-43 win over Holy Cross in the Ninth Region All A Classic at Newport Wednesday night.
Chiodi was 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the quarter.
Junior Krista Mitts led Holy Cross with 16 points.
NCC will play St. Henry at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
