Newport edges Villa Madonna in 'A' Classic

Newport defeated Villa Madonna 57-49 in a second-round Ninth Region game at the All A Classic at Newport on Thursday.
Christina Jones and Ashley Mills each scored 14 points for the Wildcats. Mills also had 11 rebounds.
Jill Sullender came off the bench to score a team-high 11 points for the Blue Lightning.
