Mount St. Joseph, Thomas More split




        Junior Joe Toney (Harrison) scored 23 points to lead Mount St. Joseph over Thomas More 90-67.

        Jared Franz (Badin) added 15 and Jarett Young (Georgetown) 12 for Mount St.Joseph.

        Thomas More's Corey Grace also scored 23 points.

        In the women's game, Thomas More rallied to a 61-58 victory.

        Bridget New's 12 points and 12 rebounds led TMC (7-9), which rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit as MSJ's shooting cooled down in the second half.

        Ashley Will's 3-pointer with 3:46 play gave the Saints a 57-54 lead they wouldn't lose. The Lions (6-8) missed a 3-point try at the buzzer.
