Cincom Systems buys firm in U.K.
Springdale-based Cincom Systems Inc. has acquired Grovewood Financial Management, an independent financial advisory company based in the United Kingdom.
Financial terms weren't disclosed, but Cincom said it will use the acquisition to market its Intelligent Customer software to financial institutions trying to expand delivery of their Internet-based products.
Cincom has had a relationship with Grovewood since 1999, when it bought the Intelligent Customer software to develop its own interactive financial Web site.
Hillenbrand taps Hill-Rom chief
Hillenbrand Industries Inc. said Friday that R. Ernest Waaser, senior vice president of AGFA Corp., was appointed president of its Hill-Rom hospital bed subsidiary.
The Batesville, Ind.-based company said Mr. Waaser, 44, was also president of AGFA's medical imaging division. He succeeds Robert J. Tennison, who announced earlier this week his plans to resign and purse other investment opportunities.
SDRC names vice president
Structural Dynamics Research Corp. has named Ralph L. Genesi as vice president of industry and channel sales, worldwide operations, reporting to Bill Gascoigne, executive vice president, worldwide operations.
Mr. Genesi comes to the Milford software company from Spectris Technologies Inc., where he most recently was responsible for the Americas' channel distribution operations, accountable for about $75 million in sales revenue of products, systems, repair and calibration services.
SDRC has approximately 150 global channel partners.
