Brossart stops Paris in All 'A'

Bishop Brossart senior Chris Ryan scored 17 points and went over the career 1,000-point mark to lead the Mustangs to a 54-42 victory over the Paris Greyhounds in the 10th Region All A Classic at Bishop Brossart High School Thursday night.
Rob Luschek scored 12 points and Nick Ziegler added 10 for the Mustangs, who took a 21-10 first-quarter lead and were ahead 31-18 at the half.
Shelby Young led Paris with 13 points.
Brossart will play Nicholas County, which beat Augusta 65-54 Thursday, in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. today.

Josh Beiting added 12 points for Holy Cross. James Delaney paced Bellevue with 14 points.
Holy Cross will play St. Henry in the semifinals at 8p.m. today.
