Brossart stops Paris in All 'A'

        Bishop Brossart senior Chris Ryan scored 17 points and went over the career 1,000-point mark to lead the Mustangs to a 54-42 victory over the Paris Greyhounds in the 10th Region All “A” Classic at Bishop Brossart High School Thursday night.

        Rob Luschek scored 12 points and Nick Ziegler added 10 for the Mustangs, who took a 21-10 first-quarter lead and were ahead 31-18 at the half.

        Shelby Young led Paris with 13 points.

        Brossart will play Nicholas County, which beat Augusta 65-54 Thursday, in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. today.

        St. Henry will play Holy Cross in the semifinals at 8p.m. today.

        Josh Beiting added 12 points for Holy Cross. James Delaney paced Bellevue with 14 points.

        Holy Cross will play St. Henry in the semifinals at 8p.m. today.
