She's everywhere. In WalMart's cosmetics department, on the poster for Jane Cosmetics Face Wash. At Abercrombie and Fitch, on the back of the perfume card. And in just about every magazine, beaming from Target store ads
Every day is Autumn for a Northern Kentucky-based model. Autumn Armstrong of Independence is one of the country's most sought models. The 16-year-old, who was profiled in a September, 1999, Enquirer story, has graced the cover of Seventeen magazine and the pages of the Italian and Australian versions of Elle magazine.
She is one of our busiest models, says Joe Guerreia, owner of New View Talent in Cincinnati. She travels all over the world, he says, accompanied by her mother, Cindy.

Starting with a spot in an Abercrombie and Fitch promotion in 1999, Ms. Armstrong has appeared in ads for Target, Jane Cosmetics, DKNY (with pop star Brandy) and in the Japanese magazine Figaro and the Italian magazine Donna.
Last summer, she went to Tokyo, and she always jets back and forth to Los Angeles, Mr. Guerreia says. She says, "Don't tell me about where I'm going until I'm booked,' and then she takes off for anywhere.
Ms. Armstrong, a junior at Simon Kenton High School, continues her exciting double life while keeping herself grounded.
I went to Japan last year because they won't let you work in Paris if you're under 16, she says. Now I get to go to New York to do shoots for Target and work with Jane Cosmetics.
I'm very grateful to my teachers who don't mind when I miss a couple of days. When I miss school, I have to make up the work. And I miss my friends when I'm away. They've been very supportive. At the beginning of the year, I almost missed homecoming because of a photo assignment, but I was able to put off the shoot.
I've made a lot of sacrifices to keep up with my modeling. I do recommend it to other girls, though, if that's what they want to do.
I know modeling won't last forever, so someday I want to go to college and major in fashion design. I love sewing and wearing different clothes. I always want to stay in fashion.
This year, look for Ms. Armstrong promoting Totes, Levi's, Tressa Hair Products, Procter & Gamble products and in ads for Elder-Beerman and Target stores.
