Ways to stay active and healthy
Get ready: The American Heart Association's Heart Mini-Marathon is coming up March 25.
The event includes a 15K Mini-Marathon Run, a 5K Heart Run, 5K and 10K HeartWalks and a 2K Kids' Run. Events begin at 9 a.m. with the 5K run. The 15K Mini-Marathon begins at 10 a.m.
On March 24, the heart association will host a Fitness Clinic at the Albert B. Sabin Cincinnati Convention Center downtown. This year's features include cholesterol and blood pressure screenings, stroke assessments, EKGs, body fat testing and nutrition education. Wellness evaluations and action plans can be prepared for visitors. An Ask the Experts panel will also be set up. Events begin at 11 a.m. and run until 3:30 p.m..
