What Tristaters are reading
Roland D. West, President, Roland D. West and Associates; honorary chairman, this week's Urban League of Greater Cincinnati Glorifying the Lions luncheon:
Chicken Soup for the Soul by Jack Canfield (Health Communications Inc.; $12.95).
It's a motivational book. I read it in pieces when I'm on the road. It helps my clients deal with issues in corporations.
Diversity Blues: How to Shake 'Em by Gladys Gossett Hankins (Telvic Press: $14.95).
The author does an excellent job of telling the reader, my clients, how to recognize issues in the workplace, how they feel and how to get through them.
Rick Robinson, Attorney with Graydon Head and Ritchey; president, Leadership Council, Northern Kentucky chapter, American Cancer Society.
Confederacy of Dunces by John Ken Toole (Grove-Atlantic Inc.; $11.95).
I am constantly compelled to keep reading it and find out what happens. This is the second time I've read the book. I received it as a gift and read it again.
