McNicholas finally beats Badin

Six seasons of frustration came to an end for the McNicholas girls basketball team Thursday night.
Ashley Clark and Liz Flammer each scored 13 points, leading the Rockets, No.4 in the Enquirer's Divisions II-IV poll, to a 55-43 victory over No.6 Badin at McNick. The win broke the Rockets' 12-game losing streak to the Rams dating to the 1994-95 season.McNicholas remained in a first-place tie with Purcell Marian in the Girls Greater Cincinnati League Gray Division.
Flammer came off the bench to score 11 of her 13 points in the second half. Ashley Clark also scored 13 points for McNicholas.
Robin Parker scored 17 points for Badin.

Purcell Marian 70, Alter 49 Sophomore Saundra Hale scored a season-high 24 points and sophomore Keri Finnell added 23 as the Cavaliers, the No.1 team in he Enquirer's Divisions II-IV coaches poll, rolled.
