TAMPA, Fla. — Super Bowl XXXV between the Giants and Ravens could be one of the lowest-scoring in history, based on the strengths of both teams' defenses and their relatively weak offenses.

Here are the lowest-scoring Super Bowls:

        1. 21 points: Miami 14, Washington 7 (1973)

        2. 22 points: Pittsburgh 16, Minnesota 6 (1975)

        3. 23 points: N.Y. Jets 16, Baltimore Colts 7 (1969)

“Points and turnovers are going to be at a premium,” Ravens coach Brian Billick said.

        Mark Curnutte
