CovCath win streak hits 10

Covington Catholic remained unbeaten against Kentucky teams, with a 63-50 victory over Holmes at Covington Catholic on Friday night.
Matt Finke had 19 points for CovCath, which won its 10th straight game. Brian Lewin had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Greg Hiltz had 10 points for the Colonels.
CovCath won its 10th consecutive victory.
Brandon Smith led Holmes with 12 points.

Dixie Heights 64, LLoyd 56 (2OT) Free throws made the difference for Dixie Heights, which went 7-for-9 in the second OT.
Kory Lonergan led Dixie Heights with 17 points. Cy Egger hit two of his four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to force the first overtime.
Lloyd's Michael Hopkins fouled out in the first overtime but led everyone with 23 points.

Ryle 73, East Jessamine 69 Justin Doellman made a layup with one minute remaining to give Ryle the lead for good. Dustin Margrave sealed the outcome with two free throws with 25 seconds remaining. East Jessamine entered the game ranked No.1 in the 11th region.
Justin Noel led a balanced attack with 17 points, while Margrave added 16 and Doellman 15. The Raiders trailed by as many as 18 in the second half.
